JOINT FORCES MEETING - WEEKLY UPDATE

Half the Team is ill, so communication was worse than usual. Sorry. Further some task got postponed for the same reason. Still some important news to share:

JFM NEWS:

• Cryptopia updated the Wallet. That is important, now MINERS can upgrade. After 70% upgraded the softforks will take place :rocket~1: and Kendra can work on the next Wallet upgrade. This speed of development is amazing! We are on our way to Segwit, Atomic Swaps and all new features comming slowly step by step with the comming walletupgrades 
• We got listed as some of the first coins on some new european exchange. We did some tests, trade, deposit, withdraw and everything worked good, please check yourself before trading. As always with exchanges, don't store your coins there, exchanges are only for trading! Skeincoin got a BTC and a LTC marked there: https://icqbase.com/exchange/SKC/BTC and https://icqbase.com/exchange/SKC/LTC
• halfing has taken place unnoticed by all but a few. From now on miners will get rewarded with 1 instead of 2 SKC per block. This might lead to a temporary slow down of transactions if miners switch the coin, it might also change the price as Skeincoin is becoming more rare and difficult to get by mining now. Time will show!

WORK DONE:

Q: For what purposes/markets skein will used for and how you gonna reach it.
A: Atm we will be focus on gaming world, but that might change
Q: What Skein is doing to stay on track regarding to his competitors (now and in future)? About technical development of skeinproducts and it's people, businessdevelopment/sales, targetting and who/what and why youy choices?
A: skeincoin dev had 3 years of bitcoin dev done in the last 3 months :smiley: - (which is easier as we are following the bitcoin dev)
Q: The real urge of use of skein also in the future. Thinking about the neefs of ypur consumers, users and investors.
A: skein is fast already and can get much better and faster with segwit lightening, it will be cheaper and more usable then other value-transfer coins (our goal). then we need adaption. but before that we need some more technical work done. it's difficult as we need to do 10 things at once )))
Q: Why aren't you working full time on this project?
A: As we are from the good old times, before that ICO for every thing hype and the blown up marked, we just have NO income by Skeincoin atm. So it's hard to feed the mouths AND do the Skeincoin fulltime. But we are trying working out that, as we want to invest more time, too!

COMMUNITY TASKS

• You have to do the wallet update 12.1.1 ASAP - The moment the MINERS do the update, you can't use the old wallet anymore!

  The wallet update includes a soft fork, it is important that now after the exchanges the users and then the miners will start updating. Again, after the softforks your old wallet might be unable able to send/recieve!
