RE: Why in 2018 will XRP still be better than the BTC?

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago (edited)

Sorry im not agree , you should know that BTC drive and controle all coins even the XRP so if BTC rise XRP will rise and if BTC decline XRP will decline too so BTC better

Sort:

Indeed, when BTC has large declines it influences the entire market including XRP. When the first use of the XRP currency in cross-border payments is announced, XRP will increase even if the BTC remains at the same price. Increasing XRP in percent (%) will also be higher than Bitcoin growth. XRP can reach this year at 7-8 USD while Bitcoin is likely to not exceed 30,000-40,000 USD. I seriously doubt that BTC will grow more than XRP.

Maybe but I don't see that continuing into the future. Often when I see charts that are posted in articles showing the percentage gains of 4 or 5 coins, XRP is off by itself. As time goes on and the crypto space matures, there will be a few coins or tokens that move out from under bitcoins shadow because they are serving their respective target markets.

There are many factors that play into prices but take the LTC/BTC chart on Gdax. It has remained at or around .016 BTC during bitcoins dip while LTC/USD has fluctuated.
