I'm a bit surprised to hear you have a female voice bitbrain. But, apart from that, I totally agree. Crypto is a paradigm shift and I think also a part of the digital revolution, which can be labeled as the next industrial revolution, together with Artificial Intelligence, Biotech, Robotics, 3D-printing and possibly much more decentralisation as a political consequence.

It seems presumptious to expect to be able to pick all the highs and lows halfway correct, although, on the other hand, it's on ongoing battle for survival between the hundreds of crypto's, with casualties and surprise-winners to expect. Trying to trade longer term trends on individual coins may be a way to protect you against these pifaills; although bitcoin will most likely survive, if only as a museum piece.

😂 It's all part of the modern "no-gender" trend!

I would agree that this is revolution level technology that we are talking about - especially when combined with factors you mention such as AI or gene manipulation (robotics and 3D printing are just natural manufacturing process / automation upgrades), you could probably throw nano-tech in there too.

I fully expect most cryptos to die. 80%+ are rubbish. Of those remaining, most have very poor leadership. Others will fall for pitfalls yet to become common e.g. internal security breeches in exchanges. I still think that careful coin selection combined with diversification can go a long way to protecting the wise investor.

I definitely agree with long-term trading, though so long that it really is more "investing" than "trading". I think that BTC will surprise you by just how long it endures. It occupies a unique niche as a crypto store of value, it is the only crypto that is widely seen that way. For that reason alone I expect it to endure for several hundred years or until something else revolutionary happens to the world of finance.
