The Tools Are Here Content Creators, If You Want Crypto To Succeed Then Use It
There has been a problem with new tech gaining traction as there was a level of entry that was high. Electric cars are great but they were expensive and you needed a place to charge them. So you had to wait for the technology to improve before you can afford them. But with crypto the level of entry is low and open to almost everyone. Steemit is free to make an account and post whenever you want. As long as you have an internet connection you can get involved in crypto and start making money for your work. And this bar is lowering by the day.
However if you want sites to pay for your content or reward you with crypto you need to use them. You need to show big companies what you want. If you spend your time sharing your content without rewards you will never get them. But if you push sites that do reward you it will be the norm as other companies will have to match what is popular.
So start sharing your content on sites that reward you for the effort and work you put in and start pushing for a better online world for content creators.
I've definitely been sharing my posts on instagram, pinterest, facebook, and twitter now to help gain some traction for Steem and encourage others to join the platform to make some additional income.
Not telling people they'll get rich, but a free movie or two a month wouldn't be too shabby for sharing information about what you love now is it?

I have a HUGE problem with the way things have gone down in the past four months or so on steemit (esp as it pertains to Steemit Inc and @ned). But ultimately Steem and Steemit are about more than the politics going on within the ecosystem.
You're right.
The solution isn't to leave Steemit, but to continue to put time and effort into it. If it gets big enough the opportunity to leave will appear in the form of competitors.
Ultimately, Steem is such a damn good and strong idea that nearly no amount of incompetence would make it less than worthwhile.
And so, after cooling down some and dealing with a little bit of disillusionment and disappointment as far as Steemit Inc, I'm back.

I've pretty much switched entirely to LBRY and Steem. I do use the other mainstream channels to try to draw people in. It's the best way I can think of.
We are getting there.
What many continue to forget is that their engagement on other platforms are not really free as they become the product to be marketed to!
