Tether, the company whose USDT has become the de facto solution for pegging crypto to fiat currency, has been hacked to the tune of USD 39.5 million. Since the Tether USDT tokens have often served as the "safe" place to park crypto profits, this news will undoubtedly have a profound effect on markets around the world.
