EL MORRO: Havana´s richest historical landmark
El Morro is the 16th – 17th century castle that guards the entrance to the Havana Bay.
If you’re walking down the Malecon, you’ll see the castle across the sea. A symbol of Havana’s maritime past, the castle today is used as a museum.
The best way to enjoy the Morro is just sit on the massive old walls of the castle and listen to the crashing waves of the sea against the wall and admire the view over Old Havana.
Just grab yourself a beer and enjoy this magnificent place, it is a breathtaking experience, and absolutely worth the trip.
Stay awesome and Steem on!
