Greetings to all users of STEEMIT The culture of a nation or region, accompanied by its traditions, is the pillar that characterizes and highlights each place or country.

Lo más hermoso de todo este arte de unir las tradiciones mágico - religiosas, la música, el baile, la danza, la gastronomía u otros elementos, es el amor que cada una de las personas participantes sienten por su tradición su tierra su legado y su país.

The most beautiful thing of all this art of uniting magical and religious traditions, music, dance, gastronomy and other elements, is the love that each of the participants feels for their tradition, their land, their legacy and their country.

Antes de aparecer el alba en el horizonte, el cielo se ve iluminado por una colorida descarga de cohetes y fuegos artificiales. Ha comenzado a clarear el 13 de Junio, día en el cual por más de 400 años se celebra la tradición la Fiesta de San Antonio en Venezuela.

Before dawn appears on the horizon, the sky is lit up by a colourful barrage of rockets and fireworks. It began to clear on June 13, the day that for more than 400 years the tradition is celebrated on the Feast of St. Anthony in Venezuela.

En muchos sitios del país han finalizado los velorios y los fieles devotos del Santo asisten a la misa temprano por la mañana luego de un delicioso desayuno por turnos entre músicos y asistentes a la celebración, en el sitio seleccionado en las comunidades ya se ha adornado el bello altar con flores y adornos alusivos a las anteriores celebraciones de los años pasados.

In many parts of the country, the wakes have ended and the faithful devotees of the Saint attend the early morning mass after a delicious breakfast in shifts between musicians and those attending the celebration. At the place selected in the communities, the beautiful altar has already been decorated with flowers and decorations alluding to the previous celebrations of the past years.

Al finalizar la misa, el sacerdote da la bendición y comienza la procesión del santo patrono al sitio seleccionado, generalmente son lugares donde existe una tradición arraigada en hogar de una localidad, el museo o la casa de la cultura. Regularmente se lleva a cabo en el hogar donde esta establecido un grupo de Tamunangue.

At the end of the Mass, the priest gives the blessing and the procession of the patron saint begins to the selected site, usually places where there is a tradition rooted in the home of a locality, the museum or the house of culture. It is regularly held in the home where a Tamunangue group is based.

Esta hermosa e increíble expresión artística, llamada El Tamunangue te transporta a cada una de esas épocas de donde proviene este hermoso patrimonio porque surge a partir del cruce del sincretismo religioso de los pobladores Europeos, Africanos y el aborigen oriundo de estas preciosas tierras. Tradición que nació en la población de El Tocuyo, la Ciudad Madre de Venezuela, establecida como capital en 1545, allí se unieron los instrumentos musicales nativos y extranjeros dando origen al Tamunangue o Sones de Negros, es expresión cultural musical, teatral y religiosa muy vistosa, donde los participantes bailan al son de la letra que cantan los músicos, los bailadores utilizan ropa tradicional y alpargatas como calzados.

This beautiful and incredible artistic expression, called El Tamunangue, transports you to each of those times where this beautiful heritage comes from because it arises from the crossing of the religious syncretism of the European, African and Aboriginal people from these beautiful lands. Tradition that was born in the town of El Tocuyo, the Mother City of Venezuela, established as the capital in 1545, where the native and foreign musical instruments were joined giving rise to the Tamunangue or Sones de Negros, is a very showy musical, theatrical and religious cultural expression, where the participants dance to the sound of the lyrics sung by the musicians, the dancers use traditional clothes and espadrilles as shoes.

Toda Fiesta Tradicional despierta en los participantes y asistentes al evento ese realismo mágico, crisol de un sincretismo de creencias, saberes y legados que pasan por narración oral y escénica de una generación a otra, calando en lo hondo del alma de aquel que las toma como parte de su vida, adornando con una nueva luz su espíritu, dando un buen ejemplo de Amor por sus tradiciones para aquellos que serán sus relevos en un futuro próximo.
