The article by Bert Fragner, entitled "A Culinary Adventure from the Caucasus to the Fall of the World: A Culinary Adventure", which is in the compilation book of the Middle East Culinary Cultures,

Europeans and perhaps Americans have recently received the following information: The French minister of education wanted to give regular lessons to the students on the subject of the French taste.

In the younger decadent food culture, the olive oil had to be awakened by the secrets of the weeds and truffles of the Provence region. 'Children are teaching music at school,' he said, 'sports, reading, writing, but they are not given basic elements of pleasure!'

Sociologists, in particular, owe much to community and cultural anthropologists: in the last thirty or forty years they have taught us that cooking and eating is a very basic element of culture throughout the world, and as a category of respectable and honorable cultural behavior, like listening to symphonic music, such as reading classical literature.
