Quick Visit to Kossuth Lajos u. @ Tihany, Hungary with Travelgirl

Hi Everyone,

When we drove towards our Aribnb, we drove past the main strip of the small town in Tihany called Kossuth Lajos u. You would see most of the action on this main road where tourists are being dropped off by the tour buses or people who drove like us will be parking around there to walk around the town.

There are a few restaurants overlooking the view, a few shops, a public toilet which you need to pay to use (someone does man it in each toilet) and a bank.

We parked out car at the carpark but they don’t take credit card so we had to go to the ATM located at the bank and pay for parking. Do keep that in mind when you are driving to have a bit of local currency handy for the parking ticket. Overall there isn’t much to see though it was a very nice walk with very people around.
