BOPH Update: Second Round of Reward Distribution
Altcoin market crash and everything else went down along with it. It's just another rainy day for every blockchain out there. I recently handed out what was gained by this account for the past week. I know it's a lot smaller than the previous rewards for the following reasons:
- There's no content being written over this blog on a regular basis.
- We're working with whatever SP we got and it's not much to begin with.
- Steem prices are going down.
Does it really matter?
I don't think so. If you're just here to milk the platform with whatever cents you can squeeze out from it, put your SP on more profiteering based project. You can put your SP out for minnowbooster or delegate to lucrative bid bots. That makes much sense compared to putting some SP in this project.
You're at a loss when you're after high ROI here. 10% of what your SP earns goes to the charity of choice. The upvotes are spent on supporting antiabuse posts, fighters, curation trails that seek out quality content creators, charity trails, and some authors on this account's white list.
With those mentioned above, your SP delegated here is put into good use and profit just comes second. I run this project and I don't much from the deal. I lose more from a self interest perspective because I spend more than I actually earn. But this is the shit the first founders tried to aim for and unfortunately I'm the only left to carry on the show.
A lot has change with the #philippines tag. Where have all the good posts and authors gone? A lot of advocacy going on for the PH community turned out to be a lip service now. Where have those strong supporters gone to? powering down and moving on the next platform probably. Coming in the platform to take value and not add to it.
There's little point trying do manual curation with the tag at the moment. I suppose competitive authors who are really into refining their craft would come when the value goes up. They always do.
