Archdruid Gaming: Author Showcase Issue 19

in #curation5 years ago

I for one am looking forward to the weekend! I hope all the gamers out there are as well and get to enjoy it playing with friends. Some reviews, playthroughs, and tabletop in this one—enjoy!

Author 1

techmojo.png

@Techmojo is a streamer who also creates written reviews on games he has done a full playthrough from. In addition, he also creates a monthly post highlighting up and coming games to keep an eye out for. In his November edition he highlights 5 games and when their release dates will be long with what platforms they can be played from. Some of them you may have heard of while others could be possible new leads for you to check out to find something to enjoy during the month.

Author 2

retroroom.png

@Retro-room is a game reviewer of many things retro and Nintendo related. From him showing and talking about his amazing game room to the latest going on in the genres he covers. He puts out a number of reviews a week such as this one Haunting Starring Polterguy. In it you can just feel the passion, enjoy the detail, and get an amazing overview of the game. This game happens to be from Sega Genesis and should bring back a number of nostalgia feeling for many gamers out there.

Author 3

darklands.png

@Darklands is a text-based game being played out on Steemit turn by turn. Every week they have a main post to sort out colony development, trading, and other weekly factors of the game. After that, if they have a weekly quest that is when those who opted in to join go on an adventure that takes a couple days to play out. While it can look super intimidating at first I jumped into this game finally this week for the first time. I found it rather enjoyable and the learning curve really is not that steep. Everyone has been super friendly, and they don’t mind questions being asked or you redoing an action as you learn to play the game.

Author 4

squirezed.png

@Squirezed writes about tabletop RPGs that come from his own years of experience of being a Dungeon Master. Naturally when a game is inspired by one of the classics roleplay games—Chaosium. He is going have a fair amount to say on such matters. In his review of Call of Cthulhu he holds nothing back and really gives it to them. He shares with the reader where the game could have gone further and when things did not fit. You can see his own experiences within the genre shine throughout his review of the game.

Author 5

xr-hammergaming.png

@Xr-hammergaming is a video content creator that plays quite a few different games like Diablo 3, Dungeon Defenders 2, and Oceanhorn to name a couple. In one of his videos on Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, he takes his viewership on an adventure to the Great Forest. Along the way you get to experience the fun banter he has while interacting with the world. His cursorily of exploration in a new area and not wanting to leave any stones unturned! Along with how he approaches puzzle solving in this game.

A Special Thank You

A special thank you goes out to @loreshapergames for supporting many amazing creators in our community. He has been giving SBI shares when he can afford to do so to those who have appeared in previous author showcases. That is quite an amazing thing you have been doing!
