CURIOSITIES - Cast the dead
Hello friends of Steemit, today we continue learning about Venezuelan expressions and now it is the turn of "cast the dead".
It is believed that in the Middle Ages, when in a village a person was found murdered and the culprit was not found, the inhabitants were obliged to pay a fine. To avoid it, the locals did not announce the discovery and in the darkness of the night they threw the body in another neighboring town so that it would be worth it.
Equivale then, to blame someone else for acts he did not commit.
