Whats the difference between an CV and a résumé?

There's really not much difference between a CV and a Resume.

The basic difference between them is that, the former is used more by the British and their old colonies while the latter is used by Americans.

The other difference between them is also that, a resume is likely to contain more details about the various elements in it.

For instance, you work experiences, in a Resume, you'd include more details about the activities your last job entailed and results you achieved in your last job while a CV may just be a summary of them all.
