8/28/2017 Daily News and Crypto Update (no 8/27 update)

Under the guise of "safety" and "fighting crime," the Trump Administration gave the green light to scrap some of the bans made by the Obama administration after the events in Ferguson. Having a militarized police is not going to help get the trust of the people and taking away our rights is not what we asked for.

That's why I'm showing you the text of House Joint Resolution 76 which allows the Transit Authority on the Washinton D.C. Metrorail, which goes all the way through Maryland and Virginia, to warrantlessly search your home or property if it is next to the track. This is an egregious violation of our 4th amendment rights and they could just as easily pry on your state's rights next. There's also the text of an email that talks about an addition to the Intelligence Authorization Act of 2015 (sec. 309) which basically allows the FBI to get all of your private internet history.

In the crypto world, Charlie Shrem is working with Viberate to help musicians and event sponsors link up so that events can ACTUALLY be to people's preference. With the amount of festivals out there these days, there should easily be a shot for ANY artist or band (up and coming or seasoned) to get on the stage. Vibecoins are a way to reward everyone listener and artist alike who support the platform.

Musicoin is another way to make a statement. It's a completely open, blockchain based pay for play open contract. You just sign up, upload your music, and get paid if people listen. It's still in a beta mode but as they upgrade I know they will get a better way to get the listeners involved. You don't technically HAVE to upload music to listen, but you only get 100 plays.

Steamit is an amazing platform. Think about social media that pays for the attention you get. A profitable Reddit like system. Popular people make thousands of dollars a week sometimes just posting important information. You can post anything (NSFW has limitations) but the more relevant your posts are as well as the more you comment on posts and follow people, the more steam power you have, which you can use to boost your popularity, or turn into Steamcoin and get $PAID$.

Russia may possible ban people from buying crypto there due to the "criminal activites" that have taken place thanks to Bitcoin. Only qualified investors over there may soon be allowed to trade it only.
