The great white Pelican also known as the Eastern white Pelican are one of the largest birds with a 9-foot wingspan. This bird does not dive from the air for fish they forages by swimming on surface, dipping bill into water and scooping up fish in there pouch. Despite it's great size this bird is a spectacular flier soaring high up in the air normally in flocks.

Howdy sir hangin! dang that's a strange looking bird, it doesn't even look real! Very good shot there.
It does look like a painting you know the myths about the Pelican bird it was known to deliver babies around the world...lol..that's a story you could write about :)
