The state of affairs wrought by the US Empire is sadness indeed, and sure enough they've also got Americans paying for the madness, through all the paycheck taxes which the common man doesn't even owe, no less. (100% of the income taxes go to pay interest on the federal debt which pays for the endless wars, and not one penny of it goes to any of the services American taxpayers expect from their government.)

But now the government spends a whole lot more than a billion dollars a week on the war machine which is killing foreign Arabs on a daily basis across the Middle East, not to mention the thousands more of all colors and creeds around the world that are extremely negatively impacted by the imperial foreign policy of interventionism abroad through starvation sanctions and all the other western international banking policies which keeps all the populations and governments of practically the whole world enslaved to the greedy international corporate elite. A billion dollars a week would be only 52 billion dollars a year, while the current annual US war budget is a whopping 700 billion dollars a year, which comes out to approximately 15.3 billion dollars PER WEEK! Talk about some madness, and ya, like he said, man that's sadness...

Let us only hope the madness can be reversed before it has caused irreversible damage, or worse brings humanity and the earth we live on to an end.
