His daughter Ivanka ambassador to the UN? "Dynamite", according to Trump
An appointment of his daughter Ivanka as US ambassador to the UN "would be dynamite," said Tuesday Donald Trump was questioned about the rumors that succeed Nikki Haley, resigned.
The US president, however, immediately added that suspicions of nepotism would probably prevent such an appointment. And Ivanka Trump herself ruled out this possibility in a tweet-shaped focus.
"I know the president is going to appoint a great person to replace Haley. This person will not be me, "she wrote.

He also mentioned the name of Dina Powell, former head of the National Security Council of the US presidency, "a person I would think about".
"But I'll tell you, people who know, they know that Ivanka would be dynamite. But you know, I would be accused of nepotism, you can believe it? ", He asked, visibly delighted to play in front of the journalists with the idea of a nomination of his daughter of 36 years in this key position of administration.
"I think Ivanka would be amazing. Which does not mean that I will choose it (...) I do not think that there is anyone who has more confidence in the world, "he continued.
Nikki Haley announced Tuesday morning his resignation, effective at the end of the year, taking by surprise the entire American political class. She had been one of the most prominent personalities at the beginning of Donald Trump's tenure.
Along with the US President, in the Oval Office, she paid tribute to Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, who is also a White House advisor.
"I can not say enough good things about Jared and Ivanka. Jared is such a hidden genius, "she said.
