Hey brother, I agree with everything that you say, I am still quite the amateur though. Sure, I can do things now, that I never thought I'd be able to do, before I joined Steemit 6 months ago, but I have much further to go, than I've come.
One thing i'd like to add about the rewards though;
We don't get paid in US$, we get paid in Steem.
So, if you count your return in Steem, and not look at the $ value, then you're still earning the same.
eg: If you get 20 Steem for this video, it may only be worth $18 today, but if you're here for the long haul, and the price of Steem goes up to US$3, then that same $18, is automatically worth $60.

Thanks for the explanation, Problem is i trade my STEEM a lot for Fiat because i use this money to live my life and pay my bills..
But i still don't really care about the price, Like i said as long as i progress and gain more experience i'm happy!
Ok, if you're cashing out your steem to live off, then yes, the current price is obviously going to effect you. This makes you even more of a legend for continuing to produce daily content under these conditions, where many have given up. I love how you're constantly investing into yourself with your equipment too.

I grind daily, be that a video or pic or post because it’s what I love doing. Steem or no steem I’m good 😀😀 I’ve bought a little steem whenever I can whilst the price is low also so I can make more when the price rises again..... that way a new camera is easier to fund 😂

About the camera I have no idea there is so many options, I want something small and compact with great auto focus and stabilisation and less than a 1000$..
Is that too much?
So far the cameras that I'm thinking about are : Canon M50, Canon g1x Mark iii, Canon g7x Mark 2, Sony rx 1000 M5
Hope than Canon will release the Canon g7x Mark 3 soon, with dual pixel auto focus and same lens and stabilisation as the Mark 2..
Yeah the g7x ii is a great little camera! I have one and use it when I can’t be bothered to set up my Sony, or when it’s quicker and easier to use it. Super awesome little camera. Yeah their supposed to be bringing out the mk3 soon hey, I’m looking forward to seeing that for sure. I’d not bother with the rx 100 mk5 it’s audio is awful, it overheats in 4K & the battery life isn’t great either 😆😆

I just don't like the focus hunt on the Canon G7X Mark ii, Hope the Mark iii would have the DUAL PIXEL AUTO FOCUS system.
I tried the sony RX100 M5 and didn't really like the colors that it produced and it feels so slippery in the hand, if i'll have this kind of camera i'll break it in a week i think..
Yeah dual pixel af is a beast. I don’t find that the focus hunt is a problem unless it’s low light tbh

Well price of steem doesn’t effect coin payout to much it’s more just what the coin is worth in fiat

yeah i hear you, But its pretty much impossible to buy anything with STEEM at the moment.
Yea I overlook the actual real life use case, this is more like the investment I cannot do with what I make from my 9-5.... Canada really sucks when it comes to using crypto as my bank has blocked every attempt to transfer anything

That's strange, I'm in Canada and never had any problem buying/selling/transferring crypto. I'm curious to know why your bank would block such a thing.
Not certain why as BMO just gives me the run around, I can purchase using my prepaid credit card with Coinbase but selling is completely disabled and to send crypto from my Coinbase account I have to use the mobile app because from their website it tells me the same thing that withdrawal is disabled in my country. Other exchanges that use bank transfers from exchanges have been completely blocked by BMO which I am now hunting for an exchange that will allow etransfers and then send it to my prepaid credit card to use it.... I just want to buy DTube swag with my DTube rewards never thought it could be so difficult

Ah I see! Well that's good to know I guess. I've always used eTransfers for crypto to fiat and that has worked well so far. I remember trying with a bank transfer once and that got blocked by Desjardins.
I've never used CoinBase for cashing out tho, maybe CB is a big no no for our banks. Hard to really guess what they allow or not.
It's been a trial & error thing for me and I'm just sticking to what has worked before :P I mostly use escrows like localbitcoin or localethereum for crypto/fiat or fiat/crypto conversions.

You're right man! We are here for some fun, meeting nice people and get some experience. Even when we got 100 $ for our work here for one post or video it is still funny when we look at the professional market and the salaries.

I like your content all around which is why I subbed - but this was an interesting topic as well. I wouldn't stop uploading due to the pricing but crypto pricing in general has always been very interesting/nerving to me since they are typically "investments", but you are so correct, focusing on the value of creation and art form itself even, it makes me totally forget that we even get rewarded!! - thanks thumbs up
