Arran Fiddle Club Recital
My daughter has been playing fiddle for maybe six years now. Her teacher Lindsay is really good and for the past three years they've done a weekend retreat in the south of the island - mainly girls all living in Kilmory Haven for the weekend, playing fiddle and having fun. There's such a rich tradition of Scottish fiddle here on the island and it's great that fun is the main focus. It's always a treat to go and hear how she's progressed as we never really get to hear her playing at home (mainly because she doesn't!)

That was fun to watch! Good to see them giggling and having fun inbetween tunes as well! My daughter played fiddle for a couple years, but hasn't really picked it up since we moved. We may need to dust that off soon. It would go well with my banjo! 😁
