I am here for these temps today biza let me tell you, high of 64f and patchy rain, it’s one of those lovely fridaze in life that is just about right — I could deal with this — poppet is gonna be here all day and stay over tonight i think, but I certainly feel the shift of gears that happened yesterday, maybe I was just waiting for the weather shift I’m not even sure.
Yeah sorry we didn’t properly finish up last night, not sure what happened I know I got in bed around 8:30pm ish and I remember seeing 10pm and then I don’t know I must have hunkered down and then I was out for the count — you know the usual me just lately, all powered up in the mornings and then out cold early evening to get up on those early starts — 6:30am this morning thou so not all bad.
We got a super cool temps day today which I’m super thankful for, I’m about to make a run out to the shops and then I’ll have everything set for the day, I need to do some pots and stuff — the usual morning manic dash when poppet is here but I think it will all fit into place today and I don’t have to worry about the temps too much, maybe the rain but not the overheating.
the temps would certainly zap you, you can’t be out in those kinda temps for long it’s super bad for you, get sunstroke and all sorts, over 90f and I’m literally a flailing puddle of water in minutes with the sheer intensity of it.
I think with anchor like you said is that they needed to find a way to ‘own’ that niche, they have done a great job recently of reaching out you influencers and have completely pivoted from the app and approach that it launched with — now they have that autoposting to other platforms thing locked in and made it super easy to actually sit down and do they are getting a lot of interest because it’s so simple.
this is a great way for them to bring in a bit of money for the shows that they host, not that hosting is that expensive but data transfer can be — just to show ‘income’ means they can go after more funding from banks or VC’s if they show they are ‘making’ money — they say 1 in every 3 new podcast is on anchor so that’s a big deal.
Don’t worry about being scattered I know what that feels like, I think I have one podcast from couples therapy I need to catchup but yeah I think they must be stressed out or having issues that they did not want to record — I know they both can have super busy lives what with recording everyday, candice nearly having the second baby — she’s kinda fit to pop right now!
I’m totally with you about august.
8:18am —
Just got back from the shop walk, little sweaty but feeling good, got supplies for the day ahead so I don’t have to worry about that — think of it as biza prep — just saves the momentum shifts later and walking in potential rain, I’m sure she just wants to wind down and chill by the end of another manic week, week two done of the six week holidays, came around faster than I thought, maybe because she was not here on one of the days.
Had this wild dream on the way back — kinda part avengers plot line attitude and real life, something good had happened and I was in the money for a moment, I was with you at one moment laughing and joking in Aldi buying like twenty five cans of beans, the total came to a hundred, we unpacked it in the shower, our new larder — cut scenes of sunshine sparkling against the swimming pool water, vlogs where I showed a flight ticket and also putting an amount aside towards rent, was quite profound.
Kinda weird the stuff that flows through my mind as I’m wandering to the shops and back, replaying scenarios that have happened, have not happened yet, projecting future experiences, if only time and travel were that easy that we could jump to those places in time and history to experience the sensation and hairs standing up on our arms in trepidation of what was to happen — maybe ground signs always wish they could fly!
Well it’s time to get into the routine, it’s coming up to half past and I’m sure I’ll get the signal shortly that she’s on the way — time to crank the coffee on, add the gifs, calibrate the phase shift investor, stoke the carbon offsetting machine, man the pumps, steer the tiller, drop the gps beacon and float this airship campbell to the next potential life refuelling station eh? :)
Congrats on making it through to another day, your making great progress, forward motion each day, you don’t have to worry about food for the next week it’s all ready to go, you can just get up and crush — no worries If some clients are offline just switch gears and switch it up, you know that a certain little lady this side of the pond is waiting to spend times in farms with you! :)
