This last month of the year gifts us with a determined Celestial push toward acknowledging our know-hows, strengths and stellar talents, while getting serious about their use in 2019! As star-children, we are prompted now to take responsibility for what we've been blessed with - stop procrastinating, stop doubting, stop worrying and get going in utilizing our unique traits for greater accomplishment in the new year!
We are also encouraged to honour who we are by releasing the unhealthy habits, inadequate jobs, unsupportive relationships and any self-sabotage of this year to make room for true success and fulfillment for the time ahead! We deserve to be at peace with ourselves, our dreams and our future! You have the right to SHINE in all that you do – start planning and doing now!
December brings the usual end-of-year festivities, but this month we also celebrate some encouraging Astro occurrences like the Solstice, Mercury going Direct (then entering Sagittarius!), Chiron moving Forward, Mars completing its path in Pisces, Venus advancing into Scorpio and the last New Moon of the year shimmering in Sagittarius! Saturn in Capricorn: As the planet representing responsibility, maturity and structure continues traveling through its ruling sign of Capricorn, we're encouraged to focus on the practicalities of life. Highlighted now are issues of efficiency, realism, creating and restoring order, rebuilding faulty structures and conserving our resources. Rewards come to those who put in the efforts that merit achievements – and to those who show thoughtful concern, patience and perseverance in their undertakings. Saturn is a teacher – helping us to grow through past mistakes, failures and hardships. By using the knowledge that we gain from these experiences, we can acquire greater wisdom, self awareness, patience and finally, advancement. Uranus is Retrograde in Taurus, backing into Aries: From August until 5 January 2019 Uranus will be Retrograde. As the planet of innovation moves “backwards” in the sign ruling finance, beauty and creativity, we'll be offered different perspectives on life, love and money. This can be a time for uncovering information, bringing new realizations and highlighting changes - especially in areas of funds, possessions, business dealings, material security and the things we value. We can anticipate some re-awakenings, shakeups and shifts in the way we handle our environment, Mother Earth, artistry, affection and our relationship with others. During this time we're offered the opportunity to make personal and global breakthroughs, helping us develop ways to overcome obstacles and welcome ways to better our world. Neptune is in Pisces: The planet ruling dreams and creativity will continues to advance in its natural sign of Pisces. Pluto in Capricorn : As the planet of Transformation continues its motion through the sober sign of Capricorn, we get serious about making positive changes to ourselves and our world. The overall theme of this cycle is uncovering the misuse of power and authority to enable change for the better. It represents a major time of rediscovery, review and reconsideration that brings transformation to our society, government, world order and Mother Earth. It also pushes us to think about the changes we want to make to our belief structures and our power as individuals and as citizens of the world. This pairing of Pluto in Capricorn will continue until 24 March 2023.
