Testing Deegram (new dapp on Steem in beta)
I downloaded the app at first but it kept crashing whenever I tried to upload a photo. Then I read the announcement post (my latest resteem) a bit more and noticed they also have a web browser so here I am now and uploading photos does seem to work! I recommend the team to have an easy link to deegram.no on their deegram.com website though cause it was not obvious the website existed there.
Anyway, nice to see a new (d)app on Steem, I wish the team the best of luck!

Awesome to see the interest!
The fixes and patches for both the web client, Android, and iOS should now be live and available for everyone.
This hasty patch should be fixing the breaking problems that occured with the release.
We are aware of other issues and challenges that we've listed, and we will work nonstop to continue getting rid of them as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, we thank everyone trying us out for their patience and understanding. We hope to resolve these speedbumps rapidly and continue to improve the beta in the coming time.

Is deegram just another blogging app like Partiko and the rest or is there something special about it?
Hey @belemo! While blogging is a part of our interface, we try to focus more on the microblogging format, e.g. pictures, short videos/audio, and shorter text content, instead of the traditional blog format.
In addition, we have some other longer-term plans for the web platform that we will use to differentiate the platform from other dapps on Steem, and features that will be unique to our platform. We will be announcing more of our plans in the time to come!
We are not trying to reinvent the wheel, we are rather trying to adjust it and customize it in a different way with the goal of increasing onboarding to Steem, bridging the gap between 'established' social networks and blockchain.
If there is anything you would like to see as a feature or adjustment, don't hesitate to throw us some feedback!
My main issue with most steemit dapps is the fact that they're not interactive enough. Is it possible to include those 24hr status that you find in traditional social media and then link the status to the person's inbox, just like Facebook and Instagram.
It gave me this error even though it published the post, seems like the link to the image is kind borked, though.

Native apps on steem have been pretty shambolic they lucky we’re such a forgiving and supportive community! We give Steem apps so much grace if it was any other app I’d have deleted it immediately lol

Oh for sure we’re all here to see businesses thrive on the platform and it s new economic model where consumers and business work closely together so it’s going to have teething issues
