Doing our best! covid-19
Right now I go under the category people call "heroes". I have to go to work, and in the media they cheer and claps for healthcare workers amid coronavirus lockdown.
We certainly deserve that, because there will be more work than usual and new procedures will be learned.
But, replace the word MUST go to work, to CAN go to work.
I'm actually privileged. I don't have to worry about layoffs, financial problems, bankruptcy and an uncertain future.
I get some overtime and learn new things every single day.
Everyone can and should be heroes right now. It is not just about safeguarding those who are infected, but more importantly preventing infection.
Wash your hands, use soap, keep distance.
Take care of your health and protect others by doing the following:
- Wash your hands frequently
- Maintain social distancing
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
- Stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare provider
- Stay at home!!
