OMG you came up with this powerful post, I absolutely love it. We are all puppets in this big matrix, what we call the power and what we call the sufferers are all created and all a part of the big game. It is difficult to break out of this Matrix but not impossible but for that a lot of your current beliefs will get challenged and how much do we want to alter depends on us.
Have you read the "Massacre of the Angels" It is a book of a Psychic who believed he was one and was actually functioning in that way untill he was taken as a targets by what he believed were the Angels who were assisting him and then the horror begins for him.
The white light what people talk about is also a trap to keep us in this Matrix. Almost all the religions talk about the white light after death where you need to enter. The big trap.

VERY intersting what you say about the whilte light.. i know people in the sea org in scientology are also told the same.. avoid the white light! Mmmmm something to think about! xx
