Deer Trail Camera, Spring and Summer 2017

in #deer6 years ago

In my first trail camera blog, I wrote that I enjoy using trail cameras on my property to monitor the deer to see how many does are pregnant, and the fawns growth through fall.

This is a great tool to learn the patterns of deer in preparation for the fall deer hunting seasons for me.

You can see what appears to be a pregnant doe in the next photo.

These photos were taken in the pines over looking a natural occurring waterhole that gets its water by rain and snow melt.
The next photo shows several deer drinking. It is unusual to see so many deer together on the property.

In the next photo, you can see the deer playing after drinking. Notice that their fur coats look rough at this time of year.

Hello!
The first buck appears with new antler growth.
This is great to see and looking forward to his development.

The next photo shows the first fawns captured by the trail camera.
Aren't they cute!

Once in a while, the camera captures the deer playing.
The next photo shows a doe on its hind legs sparing.

The fawns are getting bigger!

The next photos shows what appears to be the mother doe, playing with her young.
