Wind, wind, you are strong

I like the windy weather, I love the leaves of the trees whisper from the wind, like the invisible air, hitting the face, developing hair, and sometimes messing around backwards. I even like when, trying to scare me, it goes into the electric grid cord and it buzzed out of it. All this is like real magic. But this is a reality, this is the amazing nature of our planet, full of wonder and mystery.

What's the wind

This is the movement of atmospheric gases above the planet's surface. In the case of Earth, it will be air, but for Saturn and Neptune (they are violated by the strongest wind in the solar system), this will be hydrogen and helium, where their air shells are composed.

Why the wind blows

It's all about warming our planet uneven by the sun. At the equator, it's baked into a reddish crust, and the poles just get a little hot. This is due to the fact that the Earth is round and closer to its "peak", the more light "slips" from its surface.

The hot air tends to rise up, and in its cool flowing place, it gets wind.
Such winds can be made in your kitchen on a gas stove. Try, when it's cool, hang a piece of cloth over the burning stove, and you'll see how it starts swinging.

Also, the movement of air masses is influenced by the rotation of the planet itself, in addition to "twirling" the air currents.

Wind Power

The wind can be fun (as I like it), but it can be a real disaster, tearing down rooftops and tears of trees. To assess its strength, special scales are introduced in scores as in earthquakes

• 5 points - fresh wind (about 30-40 km / h), thin trees and twigs swinging from it.

• 6 - strong winds (40-50 km / h) begin to swing more trees.

• 7 - strong wind (50-60 km / h) can already bend any tree trunk.

• 8 - storm (60-75 km / h) begin to break branches.

• 9 - strong storm (75-85 km / h) tiled roof tiles and slate.

• 10 - complete storm (85-100 km / h) pulling trees with roots.

• 11 - the storm (100-120 km / h) sweeps everything in its path, can change the car

• 12 - storm (over 120 km / h) is a natural disaster that destroys the walls of the house.

It seems the air is moving the same, and what the consequences are different. It is even hard to imagine how these peaceful atmospheric molecules are capable of such excesses. Therefore, I hope everyone just wind passing and fun
