Is it still bright?

There's a lot of FUD going around right now. Tons of it, actually.

FUD here FUD there... Every where a FUD FUD.

Ned just released a post yesterday that has taken Steem by storm.

People are a little frightened, let's not sugar coat it.

People are worried that this is the end of Steem.

The Steemit team is having trouble economically.. Their business model is far from sustainable and this is causing a number of issues.

The crypto bear market set out to make their economic model non-viable at these prices. They simply can't get enough $ for their STEEM in order to cover their own dev costs.

And so, people at Steemit are being laid off. About 70% of the team according to Ned.

This is all a big deal. This is something that needs to be faced head on.

No, this is not the end of Steem. I'm not even sure that this is the worst thing that Steem has ever faced as a blockchain...

This is a speed bump in the whole process of the Steem blockchain. It's a stop along the road before the moon -- as my friend told me.

My friend also said that we truly need this as an opportunity to build a stronger blockchain... One that is focused on building a strong economic system that actually works financially rather than just building something and hoping people use it (kind of how Steemit operates right now).

Don't fear. Just hodl. Relax and enjoy the sunlight. The sun will shine tomorrow and the day after that!
