Ablaufende Flut / End of flood
Nach und nach läuft das Wasser der Sturmflut ab und gibt das Land wieder frei. Vor den Deichen ist man darauf eingerichtet und es entstehen wenig Schäden. Nach ein paar Tagen ist es so weit wieder trocken. Zumindest bis zur nächsten Sturmflut.
Bit by bit the water of the storm tide runs off and releases the land again. In front of the dikes you are prepared for it and there is little damage. After a few days it is dry again. At least until the next storm tide.
