Kalke holds flowers on the top of a limb . The stitches are attached to at least one another. Green. 3 cm long . The teams are 5 cm. In length. Each is related to each. 5 flower petals. The petals are twisted one by one, tubular. The flowers contain honey.
Fruits: Fruits bear fruit in pairs. the 2 ends of the fruit are sloping but the bulge within the middle is high. very similar to an egg. The fruit is straw . Eggs contain seeds. Each fruit contains 2 seeds. Propagation from seed. The seeds are highly toxic. When the seeds ripen, they turn pale brown.
Beneficial parts: Calcium bark, leaves and seeds. The skin contains cardioactive, glycosides. The leaves and seeds contain glycosides.
Uses: Used as a cardiac tonic and cardiac stimulant in bark and seeds. Strong laxative. The leaves have similar qualities. The seeds are highly toxic. Pregnant mothers are often aborted using the seeds. In rheumatism and foot swelling, it's better to form a paste with a couple of seeds and apply it on the affected area regularly for a couple of days.
