Inconsistencies

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. (Colossians 3:12-14)

You must deal with the inconsistencies in your life. You know according to My Word how you are to live, how I expect you to act. You must be cleansed. There must be a conscientious effort on your part to make virtue a real part of you.

Only on the cross, at My feet, within the circle of My loving arms, can you be cleansed of one thing and filled with another. Come to the cross; come to be healed! To be healed of pride and arrogance and vengefulness and spite; give Me your condescending, self-righteous attitude and let Me give you My humility, My meekness, My unselfish love! It is free. You cannot earn it or buy it, and it does no good to beg for it. You must only accept it and use it.

You say that you hate yourself for being this way. Do not hate yourself; hate only the sin which entangles you. Cast it off, away from you, each step of the way. Let it be a supernatural victory, as that is the only way a victory will be won!
