Seven people die in lightning

On Monday, 12 people were killed on Monday after lightning struck 17 people. Four people died on Monday in Narayanganj only. Besides, two people died in Rajshahi, two in Jamalpur, Chuadanga, Rajbari, Moulvibazar and Sunamganj.

Rafiqul Islam (34) and Hasem Mollah (17) died due to thunderbolt while eating rice in Bholaab Union. Seventh-grade student Farhad Sheikh (14), who lives in Tetlabo area of ​​Tarab Municipality, died. Farhad died in lightning while fishing in front of the house. On the other hand, Obaidul (30) died in lightning while cutting rice.

Yakub Ali (40) and Bablu Sheikh (38) died in lightning in Rajshahi. Yakub's house is in Naupara village of Puthia upazila. Bablu's house in the village Jotjayram of Godagari upazila. They were thunderstorms while working to eat in their own areas.

Bakul Mia (25) and Habibur Rahman (40) died due to thunderbolt in Jamalpur. Among them, the first person's house Islampur and the second house in Sarishabari upazila.

College student Hasibul Islam (26) died in lightning in Chuadanga. School teacher Nazrul Islam (40) was injured in separate lightning. There are two cases in Kutubpur and Shailgari villages of Sadar upazila at around 10:30 am. The students of Chuadanga Government College postgraduate student Hasibul became victims of thunderstorm while cutting rice. On the other hand, injured Nazrul Islam was going to bring the girl to school on the bicycle. On the way, he fell into a thunderbolt. In this, the left part of his body burns. Shamim Kabir, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of Sadar Hospital, said his condition was also compromised.
