cryptos already work on encryption, thus the data is can be cryptographically stored with little effort.
the data is not shareable without the private key.
The NHS gets to outsource its database cost.
So, blockchains will be used as a stop gap measure in the near future for medical data.
However, the medical industry is going to change very drastically in the near future. Going from an un-health system to a health system.
The information stored and shared in the future will not even overlap with what we store today.
