The Stew Technique...

Two pseudo Digital Art edits.

I say pseudo because Art is probably one of the most subjective "things" out there, starting with its own vague definition and ending on its speculative economic value.
What to me might be an outstanding piece of work, it might be just a random blob to you.
Labeling something as Art is definitely not an exact science.

These next two images started from a normal photography and were slowly "stewed" in photoshop and lightroom.

This first one is a Faucaria Tuberculosa's flower just starting to open.
In full bloom they look like yellow little suns comming out from a crocodile's mouth.

Google it and you will see what I mean.

This second one is a lot more common. A little bouquet of Bleeding Hearts.

Definitely one of the most interesting flower shapes that mother Nature presented us with.

I used the same "stew" technique here as well.
I almost felt bad for doing it because the original shot is very good on its own. Almost...
