RE: Gun Not Only Save Lives,

in #discussion6 years ago

I consider that the comparison or analysis of the cost of not having a weapon available in a timely manner, turns out to be very high; since, apart from the loss of innocent lives at the hands of the underworld, there is another series of costs that we could consider intangible or hidden because they are quite difficult to define, predict and quantify; but, that they are there.
In order to make the right decisions regarding the use of firearms, the management of a statesman or a series of statesmen is required (apparently in the White House there is a president who complies with this definition because he is a person who is thinking about the next generations); but, there are two big blocks that do not think and that only act for convenience and for economic interest and they are: the enemedia and bad politicians.
Although in the long run, I think the population will be the one to decide.

Sort:

the major reason for the second amendment was to insure the government doesn't get too big for it's britches.
the government works for the citizens...not the other way around.

The citizens of the world dream of the day government is reduced back to working for the citizenry instead of their own personal gain and power.

'shining city on the hill'...
and like that.
