'lemme 'splain.

H20 is the result of the oxidation of water with oxygen. It's called 'burning' or 'combustion'. The result of which is heat and ash (water)

CO2 is the same thing except with carbon rather than oxygen. For those of you with a short attention span lemme repeat. CO2 is the result of the oxidation of carbon and oxygen. It can be the result of metabolic processes although gigatons of CO2 are released from volcanoes daily.

But I digress.

The point is that CO2 is an ASH. It can't be burnt no more cause it's been burnt already.
