In my opinion, the rest of the social media platforms are an great platform to use to spread your fame and fanbase. They however are an breeding ground for memes, internet trolls and narcissists.
With social media, it put filters in our lifes, making them seem perfect and great, but often times people don't realise that someone could be depressed but look optimistic on their profile online.
What makes steemit unique is that, its an social networking website on top of a blockchain database!
If you look at the big picture, cryptocurrencies are still its in infancy really.
What future possibilities hold for this platform?
