DIY Woodworking - Coaster Set - Pallet Wood Project

We were using out pallet wood outdoor table to eat some snacks while we were working on our folding table. We didn't want to get water on the new stain so we picked some of the scraps off the ground to use as coasters.

Then we realized that the fence post scraps fit just right so while we were waiting for the stain to dry on the folding table we thought let's just make some coasters. We ran some of the scraps through the table saw to get the wood to the same size.

We then sanded it down with the orbital sander and stained it.

We then used the left over epoxy from the folding table to coat the wood to make it water proof.

When the epoxy dried we put on some rubber feet and we had a set of four coasters.
