Some would call it a governance system, and I would argue it is more advance than Dash and steem already has a much more advanced governance system and thanks to projects like @dlux-io and other similar steem based DACs we will only see more and more advanced blockchain tools on steem, which is the ONLy scalable blockchain at the moment, as even EOS costs at least $TWO whole US dollars for ONE account! Voice app launch will change that and subsidize free accounts for millions but until then, steem is the ONLY way to actually have a scalable global blockchain with dapps, its the only way to develop cheaply, and its the only system that WORKS and doesnt doesn't an arm and a leg in Transaction or GAS fees! Even if ethereum 2.0 comes out hah, no one makes any dapps for ethereum anyways and its all moved to EOS , EffectAI is not coming back. ICOs are not coming back. Projects now Airdrop and or just list and its up to consumers to find it, and the days of the ICo are over it seems. Steem may bring it back with SMTs and steem-engine has has IEOs with @actifit tokens but we will see people use AIRDROPS as the primary way to distribute and ICOs will only come back if Bitcoin comes back roaring... which it will eventually....
