The G20 financial regulator said Facebook's Libra project could direct the G20 to "take a closer look at cryptocurrency."

The G20 Financial Stability Board (FB) coordinates economic rules for member countries. Reuters quoted FSB head Randal Quarles as saying that the cryptocurrency "is currently not at risk of global financial stability."
