This is interesting and actually kinda good news for Steem, too; if Dlive starts to gain traction thanks to the deal with PewDiePie, people will get more interested about its history – and at that point people will learn about the shared history with Steem and how they abandoned it even though having the big delegation from Steemit Inc.
That's exactly what I'm hoping for. Some people will look into decentralized alternatives. At the very least, Steem will benefit from increased overall attention to the space.
