And of course he will be showing us a heavily redacted report with all of the incriminating evidence on Trump removed. What a sham!!!

It's pretty strange that anyone would want to release grand jury testimony about someone who was not charged with any crimes, is that how we do it in America?
It seems beyond desperate and sad to hold out hope that there is some magic bullet in the grand jury testimony that will bring down Trump, the whole thing was an obvious farce for over 2 years, if there was anything like that then the report would have different conclusions.

Releasing grand jury information to the public is wrong, but this type of information is always released to Congress, Fully and unredacted. Congress is a co equal branch of Government, their job is to oversee the Whitehouse, this is what they do.

" but this type of information is always released to Congress, Fully and unredacted. "

Nope, prosecutors job is to charge the guilty with crimes and to not release grand jury testimony to anyone when they do not file charges.

what do you mean by "oversee" precisely?

Oversee, and make sure the administration is playing by the rules and not doing illegal acts

if he was doing illegal acts then Mueller's report would have said so and Barr's summery would reflect that. But the report said there were no crimes committed. It was obvious for years that there was nothing to the witch hunt and it is even more obvious now. there is no there there. Trump will finish out his term and probably be reelected.

Trump was found not guilty on collusion with Russia, but Muller did not exonerate him on obstruction of justice. Which leaves me to believe that crimes were found and Mueller would rather let Congress deal with it. And if this report is such great news for Trump then why not release it to the public? And I wouldn't hold my breath about re election, remember he still has 17 criminal investigations to deal with in the Southern district of new York.

because grand jury testimony is supposed to be sealed in such cases. Despite that Trump and the AG are working to release it. I don't see how more nothing burger witch hunts, especially ones even lamer than the one that has concluded without any criminal activity found on the part of the president will have any bearing on his reelection chances. There don't appear to be any democrat candidates with even a remote chance of beating him. Must be why the TDS set is so desperate to find some way to get him out of office besides beating him in an election.

We have Congress people on both the judiciary as well as the intelligence committees, that deal with sealed grand jury information all the time. there job is to see this kind of information because it's their job to decide guilt NOT US. And you know as well as I do that Trumps hand picked AG is going to redact as much criminal information as he can before he realeases it.

And let's remember Mueller did not find Trump innocent on instruction of justice. He is leaving that up to Congress which is his right to do so. Which is why Congress needs all of the report.

And finally, I think ANY Democrat can beat Trump easily. Remember Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million to a very un popular candidate. Let's also remember that 7 million Democrats didnt even vote. Then when you take away Russian interference and remember that after 4 years of dealing with Trump, the Democratic base will be very fired up, just like we were in the mid terms, when we took back the house. He has no chance, oh and I forgot to mention he will still be under criminal investigation by the southern district of new York. That all spells doom for Trump. EASILY

Then why did they do it in the Bill Clinton and Richard Nixion investigations? Special prosecutor cant indict a sitting President, which is why the information is given to Congress, so that congress can access the level of criminality and charge the President accordingly. It's been this way for the last 100 years

Excellent question! It is important to understand the difference.

Because in both of those cases the special prosecutor found that there were crimes committed! Starr found more than a dozen felonies committed by Clinton while in office. Clinton was then impeached, the report said he did many illegal things and he was impeached for them. Mueller's report concluded that Trump didn't do any illegal things. Mueller didn't find any reason for impeachment.

So do you get the difference between releasing grand jury testimony when someone is charged with a crime and when a prosecutor declines to prosecute?
