My Portfolio #8 Limewood Green Man
This is another of my green man designs.
This one is carved out of limewood and mounted on a turned oak plaque.
I also carved an oak leaf motif into the oak plaque to give it added depth.
I sold this one virtually straight away and it was to be a wedding gift to their son.
The carving was around 16" diameter and 2.5" thick.
I liked the subtle way the colour of the oak lifted the lighter limewood foreground.
