I think it is a great example of how cryptocurrency actually solves a real world problem. That IMHO is what will drive the next wave of adoption and that, hopefully is where STEEM will come in to its own as a usage friendly option. (Fast, free transactions and an actual active community).
It will save having to change fiat to other fiat currencies when traveling abroad.
