Exclusive: Google preps 'Raise to talk' for Pixel 4 Assistant

Earlier this week, the Pixel 4’s “new Google Assistant” can seamlessly handle back-to-back commands and partially can works offline. These Google flagships could feature an interesting way to launch that next-generation Assistant: raise to talk. 

Beginning with the Pixel 2 of 2017 and continuing on the Pixel 4, users can activate Assistant thanks to the pressure-sensitive Active Edge by pressing the sides of the handset. This is in addition to the hotword "Hey Google" and tapping the home centre.
