Coinbase otrzymuje licencję od Central Bank of Ireland
Giełda kryptowalut Coinbase z siedzibą w San Francisco otrzymała licencję na prowadzenie działalności handlowej kryptowalut od Banku Irlandii. Jest to druga taka europejska zgoda na prowadzenie e-pieniądze od brytyjskiego Urzędu Nadzoru Finansowego (FCA).
Coinbase jest jedną z niewielu firm, które otrzymały irlandzką licencję i mogą również polegać na nowym irlandzkim zespole, który legalnie obsługuje klientów w całej Europie.
Zeeshan Feroz, brytyjski dyrektor generalny Coinbase napisał:
“The approval from the Central Bank of Ireland will now enable us to expand our Irish operation and deliver a better product to customers across some of our fastest-growing markets. It will also allow us to secure passporting for our customers across the EU and EEA,”
