Thank you for sharing - it is a fascinating take on the blockchain community. Personally, I think "open source" would describe the politics of the blockchain community, even though that label in and of itself isn't anchored at any one point along the traditional left/right spectrum. (To me, it certainly incorporates a kind of libertarianism and/or anarchism, in that the message to gov't and the banks is, "We've got this...please keep out."
