Google abandons virtual reality?
Film Studio Spotlight Stories, owned by Google, which in 2017 received the Emmy Award for the VR film Pearl and was nominated for Oscar, closes its doors after six years of operation.
The company also abandoned the development of VR Daydream glasses, which received the latest upgrade in 2017, and with the closure of the Spotlight Stories, they also abandon the production of their own VR content.
