European mobile traffic traveled through China for two hours
On Thursday, 6.6.2019, Internet traffic, generated by European mobile operators, traveled to China Telecom for about two hours.
In practice, this means that traffic to many European IPs has traveled through China, although there was not final destination. Similar incidents have already taken place, as they are a result of the lack of protection of the BGP based on trust.
China Telecom has a history of similar incidents since they are happy to declare all the wrong BGP pronouns, which raises the question of whether it is always a mistake.
