Yes I knew you were going a different direction with your post. In California, its more about increasing alternative energy supply. There have been some entrepreneurs trying to set up a network of "gas stations" where you could swap out your batteries in your electric car. That would allow longer trips and solve the problem of waiting for car to charge during the trip.

In that case the battery size would have to be the same for all passing cars @steven-patrick but trying to deal with the waiting time is a positive step 😊
If all houses are supposed to have solar panel is the power generated for the grid or for the household?

I think house then grid. Utility has to buy excess solar power.
