Little Bit of The History of Companies Reading Your E-mail (Eve By Humans) and The Case for End to End Encryption

I have personally had good experiences with ProtonMail and as I don't use much of E-mail, their free service is more than sufficient for me. As for messaging I use Telegram which is a very light app with a great UX. People prefer to favor what they already know about. That is why most people still stick with WhatsApp or Gmail or Google. Getting them familiar with ProtonMail y using and talking about the service alone can soften them up for a change. Here is a TED Talk from one of the creators of ProtonMail:

If you are using Google Drive or One Drive or something similar, I would also recommend you to switch to https://mega.nz which actually has a lot better UX compared to the lousy free alternatives. What the free versions of these services give is sufficient for most tasks. So make the switch. Every bit helps.
